Born West Derby 1913. He was in the Upper IVth when he left. ‘He will be remembered with affection for his quiet unassuming nature and kindly disposition’ (Chronicle)’ Very little is known of him after he left the School and before the war started, . He joined The Royal Tank Regiment in 1939 and was posted to the North African Campaign where he was killed in action in Libya in June 1942. At the time he was a Lieutenant. Again very little is known of his demise. ‘All through his life he showed the influence of the School on his boyhood, which produced a loveable character’ (his father).
