Strivers have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity by taking on the extraordinary physical feat of travelling 2,000 km across Western Europe by human power alone – cycling, hiking, trekking and kayaking – to finally reach the summit of Mont Blanc in September. Sam said, ‘Obviously, the summit is the pinnacle point to the end of the journey but I think, for us, Strive is more about the experience of taking on a huge challenge alongside amazing people working towards a common goal. The only way to get through a challenge like this safely is to look out for each other.’ To support Sam and his teammates, visit Virgin Money Giving and search for Sam Branson, Strive Challenge 2018.
