Buried No Known Grave Remembered The St. Edward’s School WW2 Memorial

Born Cambridge 1919, the son of a Royal Naval Commander. He was in the ‘Special’ Form on leaving. After finishing his schooling he left for Malaya and for a time managed the Kuala Lumpur Rubber Estate. When war broke out he joined his local Malay States Forces to fight the invading Japanese. He lost his life during this period, and very few details have survived.
