Buried Medjez-El-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia Remembered The Medjez-El-Bab WW2 Memorial, Reigate and Banstead Memorial 1939-45, Horley, Surrey and The St. Edward’s School WW2 Memorial Born 1914. He was in the School Choir, School Play, a Corporal in the OTC, and the History VIth Form. In 1933 went up to University College, Oxford gaining his BA and Modern History Honours in 1936. He moved onto be an Assistant Master at Wavertree School, Liverpool for two years, then Hurst Court School, Ore for a further year. In 1940 he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Worcestershire Regiment, attached to the 1st Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers in 1942. He was killed in action near Bou Arada, Goubellat, Tunisia late in 1942. No further details known
