City Life Our location in the heart of the city means that our pupils stay in touch with our local community. They run activities for primary school children, support local charities, help out at the city farm on school grounds, play music for the elderly and take part in public events such as marshalling the Oxford Half Marathon or tackling city clean-ups.

Day pupils have a timetable which encourages them to make the most of the School’s outstanding range of opportunities. Sharing a room in a boarding House means they are as much part of the community as their boarding peers. Day pupils leave from 6.30pm but many stay for the longer day until 9pm – for supper, for supervised study, to attend regular evening talks from Oxford University academics and the School’s own experts, and to enjoy leisure time with their friends. ‘Leading the way in educational initiatives is instinctive for this dynamic Oxford school.’ TATLER SCHOOLS GUIDE
