SATURDAY 15TH OCTOBER At The North Wall In association with IF Oxford: the science and ideas festival ‘Collateral effects of the pandemic: meet the researchers’ 2.00–4.00pm The Covid pandemic has affected everyone and everything in different ways. For some researchers in Oxford and beyond, the effects may surprise you. Meet researchers whose work around infectious diseases, climate change and more has inspired Anna Dumitriu’s exhibition Collateral Effects . Chat to them about how they have navigated the pandemic and the unexpected impacts it has had on their research – you may view the exhibition differently as a result. Free event DofE Silver Presentation Evening 7.00–9.00pm, Old Library At The North Wall Making Tracks Tour 2022 8.00pm An incredible line-up of eight musicians, performing solo and collaboratively, Making Tracks brings together exceptional emerging musicians from the UK and

around the globe to showcase diverse music and initiate new collaborations. The project is centred around the idea that musical encounters have the power to reach across social, cultural and geographical divides, and foster a deeper appreciation of musical and cultural diversity. Making Tracks also believes that musicians are in a unique position to inspire reverence and engagement with the natural world and as part of this environmental focus, Making Tracks is introducing a new annual nature theme, for 2022 the theme is ‘Birds’.
