Tennis By Eve Singfield, Director of Sport

Senior Girls The senior girls started their 2019 season off well against Cheltenham College, winning 4 out of 5 of their matches. The 4th team narrowly lost their fixture 4-5. The 1st team were impressive, winning 6-3 against a competitive Cheltenham team. This was followed by a tough fixture against Rugby, who were dominant in all matches. The girls learned a great deal in this fixture and were unlucky to come out the wrong side of the next fixture against Marlborough. The stand out performance was from 1st pair Kyla Haslett-Hawkins and Hattie Harries-Jones, who won all three of their matches. Their strong partnership was once again dominant against Cheltenham Ladies, and another strong pairing of Alice Isola and Helena Beccle also impressed by beating Cheltenham’s first pair, with the U18B team also winning a close
