WEEK A

A Pause in Winter by R

FORM RUNNER UP

Winter has a way of making things honest. Bare trees, quite stress, longer nights. Where thoughts stay too long.

And then Valentines Day arrive. Not always with roses and declarations.

But with a subtle reminder. That connections matter.

Sometimes its love, Sometimes friendship, Sometimes simple knowing Someone would notice if you were gone In a season that can feel distant. Those small certainties glow softly. A message, a laugh, a shared silence, Proof that warmth still exists.

Perhaps that is enough, Not perfection, not a spectacle, Just reassurance, That we are not entirely alone.
