Holocaust Memorial Day is an opportunity to commemorate the six million Jewish people murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions more - including gay and lesbian people and Roma and Sinti communities - under Nazi persecution. It is more important than ever to remember how the capacity for genocide can spread throughout communities and countries.
