Buried St. Michael & All Angels, Gloucestershire Remembered Brookwood Military Memorial, Woking, Surrey, Not remembered at the School* NEEDS RECTIFYING Born Staffordshire 1898. At the school only a short time during the Great War, before going onto Sandhurst and a commission in the Connaught Rangers in 1916. He was in the Vth Form when he left. He was a Major by 1938 with the South Lancashire Regiment. At the outbreak of WW2 he transferred to the Specialist Commando Unit known as the Royal Bridge Battalion, still part of the South Lancs.. While undertaking training with this new outfit he died (causes unknown). He played Rugby Football for Rosslyn Park RFC, a married man with a daughter.
