SOUTHEAST LUNCH FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER 2024 Report by Charlie Reid (Segar’s, 1973-1978) I n November, 14 OSE met at The Poacher and Partridge, in Tonbridge, for this annual event. teddies carol serviceS OXFORD & LONDON SUNDAY 1ST & WEDNESDAY 4TH DECEMBER 2024 O SE came together to ring in the festive season with two beautiful candlelit carol services, one held in the Chapel here at Teddies, and the other at St John the Baptist in London. This meant we were able to welcome OSE, parents and friends from both near the School and further afield to these magical services. At the London service, over 200 attendees gathered at St John’s, which looked stunning illuminated in the school’s blue and yellow. The choir’s beautiful performances in both settings were accompanied by the enthusiastic singing of the OSE in the congregation. The Teddies Carol Services are always spectacular events and a fantastic way to come together and celebrate the beginning of Christmas. Invitations are sent out to all OSE once the dates are confirmed each year so do keep an eye out for these.

On this occasion, Bill McAlister (Field House, 1957-1959) told us about a book about his father who was an OSE fighter pilot in the war, and David Smart provided an update on School news and plans for the future.We had a range of OSE with leavers from the late 1950s until 1978.
