We also had U16 fixtures, including a trip to the Regional Finals, where we defeated Great Marlow School but lost to Churcher’s and Bradfield. lost to Uppingham 4-2. However, there was silverware to celebrate as the boys triumphed in the County Cup after wins against Abingdon and Bloxham. They finished the term with a 3-1 win over Radley and a 2-0 victory over Cheltenham, followed by a strong showing at the St George’s 6s, where they triumphed over Dulwich and Framlingham, drew with Seaford College and had narrow losses to Cranleigh, Kingston Grammar and Langley Park. The 2nd XI continued to ease the transition for the Fifth Formers into senior level competition with great support from our Sixth Formers. It was encouraging to see so many players involved with the 2nd team, who earned victories against Cokethorpe and Radley, as well as a draw with Stowe.
