I work in the English Department as a teacher and ECT mentor, as well as being the Assistant Director of the IB. If you, or your daughter, have any questions on these topics then let me know! I work with the Sailing Team in the Autumn and Summer Terms, as well as coaching netball in the Spring Term – both hobbies I enjoy out of school too.

House Nurse The House Nurse is the link between Avenue House and the Health Centre where they are based and can be contacted. The Health Centre number is 01865 319 244. Domestic Services Team We have a great team who clean the rooms every day. We ask pupils to respect staff by making their beds, putting all clothes away, leaving their desk spaces tidy and ensuring all rubbish is put in the correct bins.

I have worked at Teddies for six years as a Teacher of Classics, five of which I have spent as a Resident Tutor. During the school year, I am a coach of rugby, netball, and cricket. I have a great passion for sports and fitness and therefore, I spend most of my spare time training for my next sporting challenge.

Annie joined Teddies with a wealth of experience working with children in educational and residential roles, most recently as a Specialist Family Support Worker at a local Edge of Care facility for vulnerable young people. She has previously worked as a respite carer, a teaching assistant and learning mentor and a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. Annie says that having grown up in Summertown and lived in Oxfordshire for most of her life, coming to Teddies ‘feels like coming home’. She is excited about being Matron in Avenue and becoming an integral part of life at Teddies.
