We were thrilled to see that Tim, founder of Waves for Change, was awarded an MBE in the 2024 New Year Honours List for Services to Young People Overseas.

The challenge fundraised for Thames Rivers Trust, which works to protect and improve our rivers and their ecosystems, ensuring they remain healthy for generations to come.The pair aimed to raise £1,000, and having completed the challenge they raised over double this amount.
Susanna M ac Innes (Sing’s, 1992-1994) It was fantastic to see Susanna exhibiting six of her paintings at the Henley Royal Regatta Gallery in the Stewards’ Enclosure this year. Susanna also painted live at Henley on Sunday 7th July.
Waves for Change (established in 2011) is an award-winning organisation based in Cape Town which provides surf therapy to thousands of young people across South Africa, Liberia, and 16 other countries across Africa, Central and South America, delivering a programme which improves wellbeing by providing ways with which to cope with chronic adversity, trauma and stress. Hugh Harris (Segar’s, 1996-2001) Commander Hugh Harris invited members of the St Edward’s CCF to visit and tour HMS Queen Elizabeth in Portsmouth, where pupils were able to walk the flight deck, and even go into the ‘Ops Room’.
