LEAVE WEEKEND SATURDAY 19TH NOVEMBER Sport Rowing: Fours Head of the River London, Putney Music at Oxford: Arvo Pärt Festival Concert Rehearsals 9.00am–4.00pm School Play Tech Rehearsals 10.00am–9.00pm, The North Wall Music at Oxford: Arvo Pärt Festival Concert: Music at Oxford are gathering youth choirs from around Oxfordshire to perform Songs from Childhood , a new work for young voices, at a UK premiere. This is as part of the Arvo Pärt Festival, a week of activity to mark the vast compositional output of Pärt, Estonia’s most famed composer. Performances are supported and attended by the Cultural Commissioner for Estonia, and the songs will be sung in a mixture of English and Estonian. At The North Wall St Edward’s School: In Progress 5

The exhibition In Progress 5 celebrates the fantastic work from pupils across all year groups, highlighting the breadth of work produced from the Shells, the SESC Art Pathway and GCSE Ceramics, the IB and A Level, and the Teddies Foundation Course. Pupils are encouraged to choose a theme on which to centre their work at the beginning of the year and teachers introduce pupils to a new technique fortnightly. This exhibition showcases the work produced to date, approximately half-way through the course. Free entry. The exhibition runs until 26th November.
