Weekends at Teddies Autumn Term 2022

WARDEN’S INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Autumn Term at St Edward’s. For some of you, it will be your first experience of Teddies as parents and pupils; for others, it will involve transitioning into a new academic year, with new subjects, new challenges and new experiences. One constant outside the classroom is the extraordinary range of opportunities for pupils at Teddies to take part in activities, to attend concerts and events, to grow in independence and, above

all, to make memories with their friends. This brochure includes the best of those opportunities this term, on Saturday evenings and on Sundays. These weekend events not only offer pupils the chance for further engagement in the co-curriculum; they also give their families a chance to take part in school life by joining activities and attending events which bring our community together. Oxford itself has so much to offer in culture and in history that we have also included a section on some of the unmissable local places and events. I hope that pupils will enjoy using this brochure to make plans with their friends, and that parents will read it to make plans with their children. Every pupil’s experience of the Autumn Term at Teddies will be unique, and your choice among this range of opportunities will be part of it. Alastair Chirnside
