How to read MANGA
As a Japanese art form, most manga follow different rules to western comics. Most noticeably, they are read “back-to-front”, starting from what we’d call the “last page” and moving towards the “first page”. As you can see below, the way that panels and speech bubbles are read also follows the right-to-left pattern. Don’t worry - it becomes totally natural after a little while!
