A New Bursar Edward Hayter joined St Edward’s as Bursar and Chief Operating Officer on 1st January. Educated at RGS Guildford and Southampton University, Edward qualified as a Navigating Officer in the Royal Navy after graduating and saw service worldwide in the surface fleet; he was appointed Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to HRH The Princess Royal in 1996. Of his new position at Teddies, Edward says, ‘I’m looking forward to working closely with the Governors, the Warden and all my colleagues at St Edward’s to help drive the continued success and growth

of this great school. We are very fortunate to have such capable and dedicated staff and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone this term. I wish my predecessor, Stephen Withers Green, a well- deserved and fulfilling semi-retirement. He has overseen huge changes at the School over the past 21 years and I look forward to building on his impressive legacy.’
