The Autumn Term at Teddies 6.7

What about music, dance, drama and other co-curricular activities? A great many of our co-curricular activities will be able to continue without difficulty, including musical ensembles, dance, drama and outdoor activities.

What if an individual in a House contracts Covid-19? Pupils and staff will be regularly briefed about the importance of being vigilant about their health. The Health Centre has robust procedures in place for looking after any individual who develops symptoms, and for looking after their ‘household’. If an individual becomes symptomatic, they will be isolated in one of the Health Centre isolation pods immediately. They will be tested as per the NHS Test and Trace service and, failing that, through the private testing facility at our disposal. Where pupils cannot return home, they will remain in the isolation pod under the care of the Health Centre. All relevant health developments within the community will be communicated swiftly to parents and guardians.

Will pupils be allowed into Summertown and Oxford?

Depending on circumstances, it is likely that visits to Summertown and Oxford will be restricted at the start of term for the benefit of the whole community. How can we buy uniform? Our outfitter, Stevenson’s, will be open by appointment from 22nd June; visit their website at stevensons.co.uk to book. For obvious reasons, our Clothing Exchange has limited stock at present, but we expect to be able to open it by mid-August. Contact the Registry on +44 (0) 1865 319200 or email them here nearer the time to make an appointment.
