St Edward’s takes sport seriously and has always had a first-class sporting reputation. We compete in a strong and demanding fixture list against schools, clubs and counties and aim to give as many pupils as possible a chance to play competitive sport. Many of our teams successfully take part in county and national tournaments across a wide range of sports. Sport at the School is driven by a team of highly skilled coaches, a number of whom have played and/or coached at international level. At St Edward’s we recognise the benefits of sport for all pupils and offer a programme which aims to foster true enjoyment at all ability levels. SPORT AT ST EDWARD’S

SPORTS AWARDS

Sports Awards are available at 13+ and 16+ entry. At 13+ we are looking for pupils who will make a major contribution to our main competitive sports and may already be a county standard performer. At 16+ award holders will be performing at a high, often regional or national standard and will take a lead role in our 1st teams.
