St Edward’s Society Annual Dinner – March 2018 The 2018 Annual Dinner saw Theodor Abrahamsen (D, 1933-1939) and Michael Cox (D, 1959-1964) return to School again. Theodor spoke eloquently of his time at Teddies and his life after School which made the evening very special. The event drew back a number of 2008 Leavers and also marked the departure of Rev Charlie Kerr (School Chaplain).

SW OSE Lunch There have been two OSE gatherings in the South West since the last edition of r h u b a r b . In November 2017, 13 OSE met at the Arundell Arms and 14 gathered in April 2018. The next lunch will be held on 25 October. Those who attended the two lunches included John Crosse (B, 1955-1960), David Pusey (G, 1953-1958), Anthony Robathan (F, 1946-1950), Mike Goodearl (B, 1956-1960), Jeremy Griggs (E, 1958- 1963), Hugh Newhouse (D, 1956-1961), Charles St. Johnston (B, 1955-1960), David Smith (D, 1970-1974), Adrian Leach (D, 1969-1974), Roger Davis (E, Midlands OSE Dinner There have also been two Midlands OSE dinners since the last edition of r h u b a r b . OSE met at the Cherington Arms near Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire in 2017. John Alexander generously donated the wine for the dinner in memory of his brother, Bill, William Alexander (B, 1964- 1968), who sadly passed away earlier in the year and frequently attended the Midlands event. OSE SW Lunch

President, was at the dinner, together with our Hon Sec John Wiggins who handled a Q & A session with aplomb, only showing a bit of hesitancy when answering the last question “and what is going to happen to the Piggeries?”! The 2018 dinner was again held at the Cherington Arms. Chris Northcote- Green (B, 1963-1968) was unfortunately ill on the night but James Synge deputised ably assisted by David Smart. 1955-1960), Peter Hall (F, 1960-1965), Richard Stovin-Bradford (C, 1971-1975), Nigel Hunt (E, 1959-1963), Niel O’Neill (E, 1967-1971), Gerry Williams (B, 1952- 1957), Reg Newhouse (D, 1953-1958) and Peter Cronk (E, 1945-1949).

NW OSE Lunch The 2017 North West Lunch was in June held at No1 Mostyn Square. Those in attendance included Michael Cox (D, 1959-1964), Timothy Day (F, 1969-1974), Michael Ajello (D, 1956-1960), David Webster (A, 1953-1956), Andrew Farmer (A, 1959-1964), Patrick Milroy (C, 1960- 1965) and Michael Palau (B, 1959-1964).
