Book of the Week

Are you a budding linguist? A keen classicist? A literature lover? Why not try your hand at the Phoenix Award ! Translate a published poem of your choice into English from another language to be in with a chance of winning vouchers for Gail’s! Our book(s) of the week are from the epic series by George R.R. Martin. With each chapter being told from one of 6 characters’ perspectives, this series, full of mystery, murder, madness and dragons, will keep you hooked! This week Macbeth comes to The North Wall, of course, we have Shakespeare in the library but it got us thinking about a different mad king - the one in Game of Thrones !
