Valentine’s Poetry Competition Congratulations to our three competition winners, whose poems you can read over the next pages; as always, our valentine’s poets had the option to remain anonymous. The judges were incredibly impressed by the originality and creativity on display in all of the submitted poems. This time the Poetry Society deliberated over the Shell and Middle School winners and runners up and combined their votes with the library team, and Mr Scates chose our Sixth Form winner. We couldn’t decide between our Sixth Form runners up so in the end, awarded two runner-up prizes! Ms Eldred has now emailed all winners regarding their prizes. This is the last poetry competition to be run by the Library for the foreseeable future as we hand the torch over fully to the Poetry Society and Mr Scates, we wish them them best of luck and look forward to reading future winning poems!
