Henry Moore joined Teddies as Head of History in 2023. Transferring from Kendall, he became AHM in Segar’s in 2025. Alongside coaching badminton and tennis, Henry enjoys running and is a big fan of cooking. Prior to teaching, Henry spent his twenties as an oil and gas consultant in the Middle East and Europe. Returning to Oxford (where he completed his undergraduate degree at Balliol College) has been a long held ambition for him and his family. He lives in Segar’s with his wife and baby daughter. David Caro Solano joined Teddies and Segar’s in 2019. Born in Spain but raised in Australia, he teaches Spanish. Outside the classroom he coaches hockey, football, and tennis. He enjoys dabbling in the kitchen and making every effort to keep fit. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and baby daughter.

House Nurse The House Nurse is the link between Segar’s House and the Health Centre where they are based and can be contacted. The Health Centre number is 01865 319 244. Domestic Services We have a great team who clean the rooms every day. We ask pupils to respect staff by making their beds, putting all clothes away, leaving their desk spaces tidy and ensuring all rubbish is put in the correct bins.

Julie Richens joined St Edward’s as a Matron in 2009. Before this she was a Teaching Assistant in a primary school and was a nanny. She lives nearby and is incredibly proud of the children she has helped to raise over the years. Hours of work: 8am–5pm
