The grand final of the Fourth Form initiative requiring each pupil to spend a term creating an artefact – or writing an essay – on a subject of their choice. This year’s finalists include Isabel Llabres Diaz’s ingenious plan to create affordable prosthetic limbs for children by melting and moulding drainpipes; a website by Bertie Gosling designed to tackle knife crime; and an impressive contemporary dance sequence choreographed and filmed by Olivia Johnson. At the time of going to press, finalists had been announced as follows: Raya Alsalloum, Beatrix Barnett-Trier, Bertie Gosling, Angus Graham, Thomas Helm, Olivia Johnson, Isabel Llabres Diaz, Kais Mnif and Charlie Scales
thoughtful proposals for making Teddies more sustainable, with particular emphasis on the Quad Development. Under the spotlight will be waste, recycling, emissions, energy use and the role of plastics.
