In Memoriam

We are sad to report the deaths of two prominent members of the Teddies community.

Roger Ellis OBE Former Governor Roger Ellis died in February aged 93. He was on the Board at St Edward’s from 1984 – 2006 and Chair of Governors from 1992 – 1999. Roger had an illustrious career, which included appointments as Head of Rossall School and Master of Marlborough College. He was also a published historian.

Nick Lloyd Webber OSE Nick Lloyd Webber OSE (Corfe, 1992 – 1997) died in March aged 43. Lloyd Webber was known for writing a theatrical and symphonic version of The Little Prince and for producing the Scottish folk music album Speyside Sessions with actor Kevin McKidd.
