Personal News from the Summer Congratulations to Huw Thomas and Beckie James who were married (see below); to Cathy James and Scott on the birth of Louis Theodore; to Charles Wallendahl and Natasha on the birth of Isabella; to Paolo Torri and Giovanna on the birth of Leo; to Sebastian and Paula Symington on the birth of Nina; and to Jonny Thomson and Tanya on the birth of Charles. Warm congratulations also to Leah Collins who became engaged to Louie and to Bethany Marett who became engaged to David.

Houses At the start of term, Lauren Bray

became HM of Mac’s (see page 37) and Huw Thomas became HM of Apsley (see page 6). Simon Palferman remains HM of Cowell’s until December, when he leaves to join Tony Darby as Deputy Principal (Pastoral) at Rugby School Japan. Simon will be succeeded as Cowell’s HM by Kevin Reid (see page 44). New Assistant HMs are: Holly Hyams in Sing’s, Ross Perry in Mac’s, Michael Glover in Cooper Lodge and Louise Duffy in Avenue. New Resident Tutors are: Andy Rush in Cowell’s, Catherine Holliday in Sing’s, Katie Gibson in Mac’s, Andy Halliwell in Tilly’s, Matthew Golesworthy in Field House, Susan Holland in Kendall, Victoria Patel in Oakthorpe, Beckie Thomas in Apsley and Bethany Marett in Jubilee. Oscar Allison-Dogar and Jessica Harris will be Assistant HM and Resident Tutor respectively in the Oakthorpe Annexe this term. Camille Garnon joins us as Matron in Cowell’s.
