ON TOUR

NEWCASTLE & edinburgh 18TH & 19TH MARCH 2022 JohnWiggins, writes: When not teaching Maths or being on the river coaching, I have the honour and pleasure of keeping in touch with our OSE and what better way than to visit those newly ‘alumnied’ at university. Hot on the heels of the very successful trip to Exeter and Bristol, we headed north - returning to Newcastle and then Edinburgh in the company of teaching (and rowing) colleague, Fred Tao. More than 30 OSE took up the invitation to share supper in Newcastle or lunch in Edinburgh, where it was a delight for the students to share a drink, a meal and memories of School with OSE from several generations.

REUNITES LEAVERS PRE-1971

26TH MARCH 2022

50 Year reunion What a wonderfully happy day it was, welcoming back more than 180 OSE who had left over 50 years ago.The sun shone and the School looked its best as they enjoyed welcome coffee inWillows and then a spectacular lunch in the marquee. Our OSE enjoyed a tour of the new Academic Christie Centre and Olivier Hall, photo displays of the 1940s, 50s and 60s, Rhubarb merchandise galore and there was even a quiz provided by our dedicated Archivist, Chris Nathan (Segar's, 1954-1957).
