Deya worked on three out of the five episodes as a researcher including being on location sloth filming in Costa Rica, and gorilla filming in Rwanda.The series has recently won the Emmy for best narration, and was also nominated for a second Emmy for cinematography. Deya is also a JacksonWild nominee for short cinematography and behaviour on an impact film that was created alongside the series.The impact film consists of an interview with Emmanuel, a gorilla tracker in Rwanda who gave an insight into the extraordinary stories of people behind the film.The series is on Netflix to view and this short film can be viewed onYouTube.
