A CELEBRATION OF ROWING AT ST EDWARD’S 16TH SEPTEMBER 2023

OSE EVENTS

I t was hugely exciting to welcome almost 500 OSE, parents, pupils and staff to our Celebration of Rowing in September this year. The celebrations kicked off with a regatta down at Godstow in the afternoon.There was plenty of friendly competitive spirit in the air among our OSE, some of whom hadn’t been back in a boat since leaving School! It was lovely to see OSE of all ages rowing alongside current pupils and it was a particular highlight to see the Warden’s VIII take to the river.

Everyone then returned to School, for a gorgeous evening with drinks hosted on the Quad. Guests were treated to dinner in the marquee, with the P.E Cup and the School boats lit up in pride of place. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the Teddies Boat Club, not only this summer at Henley but throughout School’s history.Thank you to all who attended and helped to make the occasion so special.
