PAST PRESIDENTS’ LUNCH

21ST APRIL 2023 T he OSE Society was delighted to welcome past presidents and honorary members back to St Edward’s for lunch with members of the Beyond Teddies team and the Warden. It was lovely to see these familiar faces, and wonderful to be joined by their partners as well. Attendees were welcomed by Warden Alastair Chirnside, and David Wethey gave a wonderful speech. Lunch was delicious, with the rhubarb and orange panna cotta being a real highlight! This really was a lovely occasion, and an opportunity to say thank you to David Smart as outgoing President of the Society, and to welcome our new President James MacDonald-Smith into the role. CCF INSPECTION & MILITARY DINNER 28TH APRIL 2023 T hank you to all the OSE who came to the the evening and it was a great opportunity for current members of CCF at School to meet those who have forged a career in the military since leaving Teddies. The Inspecting Officer for the Inspection which took place during the day was Major Rosie Wink (née Hamilton). Rosie was at Teddies in Corfe from 2000-2005. She went on to study Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Bath, before going into the Army. She was a finalist in the Inspirational category in the Women in Defence UK Awards in 2016.
