Rhubarb Issue 12: November 2023
I t was so exciting to start the new year by welcoming four incredible panellists to Teddies Talks Media. We were joined in central London by OSE Mike Vince (Segar’s, 1972-1976), Dan Kilpatrick (Segar’s, 2001-2006) and Tom Chamberlin (Kendall, 2000-2005) as well as parent Nicola Walton. This was a great opportunity for current pupils, OSE and current parents alike to gain a valuable insight into the world of the media and to hear our panellists speak about their various career paths. Mike has spent most of his life working in broadcast media and has worked on major events including the World Cup and Olympics.Tom is Editor-in-Chief of The Rake magazine, while Dan is the Chief Football Correspondent for the Evening Standard. Nicola is a writer, broadcaster, and trustee of a major arts organisation.
