Flora shared with us 10 things she has learnt through her training: 1. 15 km is a long way 2. Jelly Babies are your best friend 3. Geese are not your best friend and will hiss as you run past 4. 25 km is an even longer way 5. Do not run in a heatwave 6. London is a beautiful city to run through 7. 30 km is even further 8. A month can go very fast when you are training 9. 42 km is a very very very long way 10. Running 42 km for The Mulberry Bush makes each step a little easier. Jess studied History at UCL, and spoke to pupils about her university experience as well as offering career advice and an insight into her time in Russia so far. In April 2023, Casper ran the London Marathon in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Casper raised over £11,000 for the charity and completed the

WillIAM Webb (Kendall, 2012-2017) In September of this year, William Webb undertook the 'UTMB' (Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc) event, where he tackled the awe-inspiring 107-mile run around Mont Blanc, crossing through France, Italy, and Switzerland. Will completed the gruelling 107 miles in 38 hours and 51

marathon in 3hrs 45minutes, contributing to over £600,000 which was the most amount of funds raised for Prostate Cancer team in a London Marathon to date! It was a truly amazing achievement and very impressive that he took part in the Blenheim Triathlon less than two months later! FloraKing (Corfe, 2011-2016)

This summer, we were delighted to see Flora King taking part in the British Transplant Games in Coventry, competing in tennis, athletics and netball.

As well as competing here in the UK, Flora also went to the World Transplant Games in Perth earlier this year to take part in the international competition alongside other transplant recipients. In Perth, Flora won five gold medals in tennis (singles and doubles), the cricket ball throw, squash and javelin. It is such an achievement to be competing on an international level, and raising awareness of organ donation and transplants at the same time. Huge congratulations, Flora.
