7. In February, pupils had the chance to hear John Simpson – one of the most distinguished foreign correspondents of all time – talk about his career andwork. 8. In the Spring Term, Football was expanded to include all year groups across the School and the girls’ 1st XI are pictured in the new Teddies sports kit. 9. In March, pupils enjoyed a high-energy, interactive evening of learning and fun on the topic of global health by Dr Chris and Dr Xand van Tulleken of CBBC series Operation Ouch! and various Radio 4 series. 10. At CCF Inspection Day, we welcomed Commander Hugh Harris OSE (Segar’s 1996-2001) pictured left with two pupil prize winners. 11. St Edward’s launched the ground-breaking Teddies Collaborates programme in September 2022 in which every member of the Lower Sixth volunteers with a local charity or organisation for 90 minutes each week as part of their academic timetable. 12. In the Spring Term Teddies put on one of the biggest ever productions. Featuring over 70 pupils with stunning performances and a custom-made set, over 2,000 people enjoyed the razzle dazzle of Chicago on the musical’s four-night run in the Olivier Hall. 13. Pupils on the catwalk at a sustainable fashion show hosted by pupils from the Eco Society, which highlighted the environmental impact of fast fashion and showcased how second-hand clothes can be sourced and styled creatively to reduce waste.

14. A school archive photograph of the 1958 Bumpers races.This involved a number of boats chasing each other in single file, in an attempt to 'catch' the boat ahead and move up one place, thereby 'bumping' that crew.This was a highly anticipated Spring Term event at Teddies from 1920 to 1974, which will be reintroduced in Summer 2024.
