Dinner The School is delighted to announce that it will be hosting the re-arranged TOBY SMITH DINNER on SATURDAY, 7 MAY 2022. Toby (Tilly’s, 1995-2000) tragically died in 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was an inspirational character, who is greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a hugely talented and successful sportsman, who excelled in a rowing boat and on the rugby pitch both during his years at Teddies and beyond. coronavirus. It will now be held at the School on 7 May 2022 and will be an evening of friendship and sport in celebration of Toby’s life and to raise money for a good cause.There will be a drinks reception with canapés on the Quad, a formal two course sit down meal in the Dining Hall and an after dinner speech by guest speaker, Sir Bill Beaumont, followed by a live band and dancing. The Dinner was originally scheduled for May 2020 but has had to be postponed twice due to

F performances from some of the boys in House and a few ‘well organised’ dance performances.The House Band also produced a great show for the boys in House.Towards the end of Term, the Tilly’s Lower Sixth and Jubilee Lower Sixth organised a school fête. Mixing with another House was good fun and something which hadn’t been done for a while due to the restrictions.The fête was a great success, generating lots of money for the Gatehouse charity which Tilly’s proudly supports.Tilly’s is driven by the people in House and events such as Tilly’s Presents and the fête kept the spirits high throughout this term.
