2021 LEAVERS ACADEMIC RESULTS 202 1

Despite widespread disruption to exams in the last two years, we are pleased to report that the 10-year upward trend in academic results continued at St Edward’s.

A Level Results 2021 Congratulations to our A Level pupils who received a stellar set of results this year, despite the many challenges they faced throughout their studies. Overall, 61% of A Level grades were A*/A and 83% were A*-B. The following pupils achieved outstanding A Level results:

Top universities this year are Edinburgh, Bristol and Exeter with the most popular courses being Engineering and History. As ever, St Edward’s pupils go on to a wide range of different courses in the UK and globally, four pupils confirmed places at the University of Oxford. Other courses include: Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh; Interior Architecture at Brighton; Theatre and Performance Technology at the Liverpool Institute of the Performing Arts; Liberal Arts at Bristol; and Architecture and Urban Planning at Newcastle. Four pupils will take up places at Parsons School of Design in NewYork; the University of British Columbia in Vancouver ;Trinity College Dublin and Columbia New York; and the Shanghai Jiao Tao University. prestigious universities overseas including the

IB Results 2021 IB pupils at St Edward’s were celebrating this summer as they received a very impressive set of results. Two pupils, Izzy Rees and Kunal Barman, achieved full marks with 45 points each and 18 pupils achieved 40 points or more. At Higher Level, 64% of grades were awarded at levels 7/6, 94% at Levels 7-5, and the average points score is 36.The following achieved outstanding results:
