The new facilities have been designed to address explicitly the modern requirement for flexible, varied work spaces. Sometimes quiet reflection and research is required, sometimes debate, discussion and group work. Great emphasis has been placed on facilitating collaboration and group work, vital components of classroom practice at St Edward’s, where pupils are encouraged to employ a range of learning methods in order to achieve their full potential. Designed by TSH Architects, the Library, Reading Room and Academic Centre have all opened with the Cafe and Hall scheduled to be completed by half term. We very much look forward to welcoming you back to Teddies to see it when social distancing rules allow.
