Individual News Farbod Akhlaghi-Ghaffarokh (B, 2008- 2012) is currently reading for his DPhil in Philosophy at Oriel College, Oxford. He has been elected President of the Oriel Middle Common Room, the Society for graduate members of Oriel College. Megan Brittan (M, 2009-2014) is looking to expand her network within the film and television industry having recently graduated from Warwick University with a degree in English Literature. Over the last three years she has worked on commercials, features and short films both on set and in the development process, predominantly in New York. She recently interned at Cannes Film Festival with a sales agency and is in the process of setting up a production company and embarking on her first feature project as a screenwriter. She is seeking advice, contacts, and potential investors from the OSE network, so please get in touch through the OSE office if you are interested.  Konstantinos Doxiadis (C, 2015-2017) is now studying Philosophy at Cambridge and has created an online literary journal ‘La Piccioletta Barca’ which he would like to share with any interested OSE www.picciolettabarca.com

Henry Oakley

Henry (Caroline) Oakley (G, 1987- 1989) and her husband Will, General Manager of Cobblers Cove Hotel, kindly hosted the St Edward's Barbados Cricket Tour. In the picture: Simon Roche, Neil Taggart (D, 1987-1992) Barbados resident, Henry Oakley (G, 1987-1989), Peter Swainson (F, 1995-2000) and Dave Simpkins. Tom Pellereau (C, 1992-1997) was interviewed on Radio 1 Life Hacks ‘DIY Generation’. Winner of The Apprentice in 2011, he gave his top tips for starting a business.

Will Webb

OSE Media Crew Keep an eye out for this formidable team of OSE. Grace Allen (D, 2011-2016) is now an undergraduate at Keble College, Oxford, where she recently organised a magnificent Summer Ball. Drafted in to help as the top media team were none other than fellow OSE Celia Hodgson (D, 2011-2016), who now runs celiafilms , Ned Stewart (H, 2012-2017) and Will Webb (H, 2012-2017), who all cut their teeth in our pupil media crew, Teddies on Camera (in fact, Celia launched TOC in 2015 with fellow Sixth Former Casper Sunley (B, 2011-2016). All of them now produce many of the films and photos you see across School magazines and social media, and on Teddies TV. Look out world, here they come.

Benedict Swindells

Benedict Swindells (B, 2014-2016) gave the Warden’s OSE Recital on 4th July 2018. Will Webb (H, 2012-2017) returned to St Edward’s on 18th September 2018 to give a talk about his time spent with Project Trust ( https://projecttrust.org.uk/ ), teaching in a remote part of Nepal, funded by the award of a Bulkeley-Evans Scholarship.

Charlie Kerr

Charlie Kerr , our former Chaplain, sadly left St Edward’s last summer. Many OSE as well as current pupils signed his memory book.
