THE HUNGER GAMES Sunday 11th June 2017 For pupils in Year 6 This cinema-inspired activity day is designed to develop teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills. Pupils will spend the morning preparing for the ‘Hunger Games’ challenge by taking part in archery, building shelters, cooking in the wild, obstacle crossing, bridge building – and talking tactics with each other. For the afternoon’s challenge, children will race through a series of tasks and will be assessed in terms of time taken and effectiveness. Let the Hunger Games commence …
