WELCOME

Welcome to Jubilee House We are all looking forward to your daughter starting at Teddies and getting to know her and you. Very soon after your daughter starts, she will know all about how life at Teddies works. In the meantime, this booklet aims to cover some basics to help with the start of term and to give you some important contact details. There is also an A–Z at the end which hopefully will answer specific points, for anything else please ask! In my role as HM, I have overall responsibility for your daughter’s wellbeing at school. This includes her emotional and social wellbeing as well as her academic progress and involvement in the co-curricular life of the school. I am supported in this role by a fantastic team – the Assistant HM Bethany Marett, the House Matron Emma Hanson, the Resident Tutor Tona Zieler and the entire House team. If you have any concerns about your daughter, please do get in touch with me or one of the team (see the contact details below) by email, text or phone. We all aim to reply to emails within 24 hours but for anything more urgent please phone me on my mobile or the House phone. In an emergency, you can also contact the Sub-Warden. It is really important that we can contact you or a guardian, so please ensure you let me know if your contact details change.

Sam Munday-Webb Jubilee Housemaster (HM)

I joined Teddies in 2022 as a Teacher of Drama, becoming Head of Academic Drama during my first year at the School. I became the HM of Jubilee in January 2024. I also hold the position of Co-Head of Social Responsibility. During my career, I have held the positions of Director of Pastoral Care, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Head of Year. Beyond teaching, I direct and write professional pantomime and established The UK Pantomime Association, where I produce the annual Pantomime. I also act as an EDI consultant to various organisations. I live in Jubilee with my partner Alicia and our three children, Winnie, aged two, and twin boys, Monty and Barnaby, who are ten years old.
