The Shells showed last term that the future of hockey at St Edward’s is bright. The 14As won 9 and drew 4 of their 16 matches and were only a couple of missed chances away from reaching National Finals. While their focus looking ahead will be on defending, they displayed some wonderful attacking hockey, most notably

against Stowe and Tudor Hall. The U14B team were unbeaten in school matches, winning 7 and drawing 1 and were entered into the County Tournament for the first time. The work rate of the entire squad was a notable characteristic throughout the season. The 14Cs also had a reduced fixture card but were competitive throughout with the highlight being a 1-0 win over Haileybury.
