Sustainability in Oxford By Alexandra Cantwell, Lower Sixth In November members of the School’s Sustainability Committee travelled into Oxford, by bus, to attend a sustainability event at the Natural History Museum.

Afterwards we heard from a panel who presented their poetry, art and animation, all based around the research on which they had collaborated at Wytham Great Wood in Oxford. Overall, the evening was an amazing experience. Meeting the eco representatives from other schools especially was brilliant, and a great success as we were able to gather so many new ideas on how to improve sustainability at Teddies.

Alongside pupils from other Oxford schools such as MCS and Oxford High School, we discussed and shared our ideas on ways to improve the attitude of and actions taken by our schools to reduce our carbon footprint and overall improve our sustainability. We also tackled several questions on sustainability, provided to us by the coordinators of the event, for
